One way to get targeted visitors to your site in a hurry is to buy web site traffic.  Buying traffic, however, should be approached with caution.  There are many scammers online that will promise thousands of visitors for a few bucks, and then send you "fake" traffic.  This not only wastes your money, but can also cause your site to receive links from websites you don't wish to be associated with.  This shouldn't scare you away from buying traffic for your site altogether, but it should cause you to be selective in your choices.  Here are some marketing strategies to help you buy web site traffic that really works.

Choose Online Marketing Firms Wisely

Online marketing firms are those that specialize in Web marketing.  Some are established and have spent years analyzing Web promotion methods.  These have tweaked their marketing methods and are keeping in step with the latest promotions that bring results.  Look for a marketing firm with many years of experience, and one that offers the services that cater to your needs. Some companies will only offer one or two ways to buy web traffic while others may offer many different services.

Some key points to look for when considering a marketing service include:  Better Business Bureau member, established for at least five to ten years, services geared for targeted traffic with measurable results, and an acceptable Google PageRank (5 or better is great).

Promotions that work

Once you've found a reputable marketing firm, look for these various ways to buy web site traffic.  Some of the most popular methods include e-mail campaigns to targeted safe lists, press release marketing, banner advertising, blog marketing, article marketing, mall linking, social bookmarking, directory submission, popunder ads, and SEO promotions.

Beware of Limiting Your Campaigns

You've probably heard the phrase, "Don't knock it until you've tried it!"  Well this definitely applies for the advertising world!  While one website promotion might flop, another might soar in results.  You really won't know what works for your company unless you buy web site traffic from various sources.  You don't have to try them all at once, but some marketing companies offer web traffic builder packages that include multiple services at a discount.  With these you can try out various promotions without spending a fortune.

Test, Test, Test!

Keep in mind that every promotion you try should be tested against another.  Test your headlines.  Test your target keyword and audience selection.  Test various sales emails to find out which ones bring the most response.  Testing is the key to knowing if your efforts are really working and if they can be improved.

Once you're ready to buy web site traffic, be sure to compare apples with apples.  Avoid using a service just because it's the cheapest.  Research each company to find out how it has helped (or not helped) other businesses.  Even if you have to pay a little more when you buy traffic for your site, you'll enjoy a better return on your investment by choosing a trustworthy company with years of online marketing experience.

10  Member Discussion Boards / College Bass Tournament Chat Board / Question about rules/joining

We just started the winona state university fishing club and i thought this could be another good opportunity for college tournament fishing. There are not a lot of rules and information available though. I read the info on the join page, but I need some more information. Do we really have to host our own qualifying tournaments with atleast half of our members? I don't think half of our fishing club members would even be interested in fishing bass tournaments. I was just hoping we could sign up and send two guys who would be interested in fishing the iowa tournament.
Hank... I tried sending you a pm but it wouldn't let me because i hadn't posted yet, so here is my first post.

Thanks
